In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting residents with their daily routines, social interactions, and emotional fulfillment.
As a Kitchen Hand, your main responsibilities will include food preparation, ensuring smooth meal services, and maintaining a hygienic kitchen environment.
For a successful candidate, we have the following shifts available :
Week 1 : Monday (16 : 00pm-19 : 00pm), Tuesday (16 : 00pm-19 : 00pm), Wednesday (15 : 45pm-19 : 45pm) and Thursday (16 : 00pm-19 : 00pm).
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Assist in food preparation, portioning, and serving
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas and equipment
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
- Follow Juniper's Occupational Safety and Health policies
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required :
- Previous experience in commercial cooking or aged care environments
- Familiarity with food handling practices and hygiene standards
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling procedures
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Full working rights in Australia

This is a Part-Time position with opportunities for additional shifts in domestic cleaning and catering and coverage for leave when necessary.
