Description:
- Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, including tax withholdings, deductions, and earnings
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation or benefits
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries related to payroll matters
- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
- Assist in the preparation of payroll-related financial reports and audits
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as a payroll accountant or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in payroll software (experience with SAP is a plus) and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under deadlines
