• Advise clients on and arrange solutions for their insurance needs
  
• Ensure knowledge of all relevant products is up to date
  
• Manage a portfolio of clients, including regularly contacting, reviewing and servicing those clients
  
• Ensure good communication with clients and external parties
  
• Ensure client records are maintained in accordance with the company policies
  
• Proactively identify cross selling and upselling opportunities with existing clients
  
• Increase revenue
  
• Ensure all responsibilities are undertaken in accordance with all statutory, legal and good conduct requirements
  
• Meet good conduct obligations
  
• Meet product provider obligations relating to financial advisers
  
• Ensure all responsibilities are undertaken in accordance with company policies, processes and controls
  
• Handle all client interfacing administrative tasks
  
• Undertake marketing and business development activities for the company
  
• Undertake other tasks requested by the Managing Director (MD) to facilitate achieving the purpose of the role
  

Requirements

• Proven broking experience, someone who is looking for a step up in duties and responsibilities.
  
• Hold the NZCFS Level 5 (V2)
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• Ability to think laterally, remain up to date with products
  
• Work to compliance and best practice standards
  
• Sound problem solving skills
  
• Effective time management
  
• High skill level with Microsoft Office Products and other work related systems
