About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable team leader, the ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing and debt collection. They will also have strong customer focus and superior stakeholder management abilities.
The role will involve the following activities:
- Perform payment reconciliations & payment.
- Onboarding of new customer accounts
- Account reconciliations.
- Assisting customers with queries
- Making and receiving debtor calls
- Assisting customers with queries
- Placing customers on stop credit and collection letters.
About You:
- Qualifications in Finance/Accounting or a related field (desirable);
- Knowledge and experience within Accounts Receivable environment
- Proficiency in computer-based accounting software packages
- Intermediate Ms Excel skills
- Continuous improvement initiatives
