New Payroll Officer job with a multi-national manufacturing company!
My client in Craigieburn is a multinational manufacturer and they are looking for a Payroll Officer for 6-7 months. Their products range from DIY home improvement to highly technical precision engineering. They are a friendly team with good hybrid flexibility.
Payroll Duties:
- Process payroll for around 200 employees while also carrying out HR admin duties
- Ensure the efficient and effective management of all payroll functions.
- Coordinates and manages the end of month requirements for all companies within the Pacific.
- Weekly, fortnightly and monthly wages, processing the payments electronically.
- Weekly production reports.
- End of Month reports, Journals, Leave Liabilities, Group and Payroll Tax, Superannuation and Headcounts for the Group of Companies and reconciliation of same.
- End of Year reconciliations and Group Certificate preparation.
HR Duties:
- Coordinates HR team meetings including all document preparation.
- Coordinates employee correspondence such as, drafting employee communications, paperwork for new starters and employee terminations, qualifying periods, employee requests for service letters and service awards.
- Assists the HR Director and HR Manager in the completion of Management and Group reporting requirements.
Skills and Experience:
- 5 + years in a similar role
- Proficient with ADP Globalview SAP
- Proficient with Excel
Qualities:
- Strong project management and multitasking capability
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good people manager

- Immediate start available – Monday – Friday standard working hours
