The Role

This is an exciting role within our DBM Atlas team, focused on serving our insurance clients. You will be integral in driving the team forward, being focused on exceeding client expectations in all forms of delivery, identifying and implementing research and operational best practice and mentoring more junior members of the team. Insurance is a key growth category for RFI and you will be instrumental in ensuring the business capitalizes on the opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the relationship with various insurance clients and delivering outstanding customer service to those clients; including timely delivery of all reports, client queries and ad-hoc analysis requests ensuring they are provided to clients on time/in accordance with SLAs, to the expected standard and without error
  • Maintaining deep understanding of the client’s strategic priorities, NPS performance and drivers
  • Advancing the depth and actionability of insight provided to clients
  • Producing periodic deep-dive reports and presentations for key clients end-to-end; including client briefing & consultation, solution scoping, analysis planning, data production, insight and report generation.
  • Receiving briefings for ad hoc deliverables and communicating requirements and expectations to the Client Director/Senior Director
  • Owning the execution of low-medium complexity adhoc analysis requests for insurance clients
  • Providing support to Client Director on higher complexity adhoc analysis requests
  • Supporting internal teams in the enhancement of production, QA processes and output including through automated production techniques
  • Monitoring use of adhoc hours including determining hours required to complete tasks, communication and agreement of hours and adherence to agreed hours during production process
  • Contributing to the identification of opportunities to improve the way clients are serviced and to enhance client value
  • Liaising with clients on prioritization of tasks based on team capacity and workload
  • Liaising with external providers associated with client deliverables
  • Identifying and implementing innovative research approaches and methodologies
  • Cascading subject matter expertise through the account team and broader business
  • Leading training sessions and implementing ongoing internal training programs and knowledge sharing
  • Assisting in putting together SOWs, sales pitches etc. in collaboration with Sales and Client Success teams
  • Organising and conducting regular monthly client WIPs meetings and presentations
  • Coaching and development of team members ensuring they are engaged and fulfilled in their careers at RFI.

Requirements

  • Experience in a research agency environment or research role.
  • Experience working with banks / financial services providers.
  • An ability to focus on client service above all else.
  • Experience of using data and research to deliver customer insights.
  • Experience managing primary research from the design stage through delivery.
  • Experience managing of external panel suppliers.
  • Experience presenting research and insights to clients at a senior management level.
  • A desire to work on your own in a fast-moving environment, with an entrepreneurial focus.
  • The ability to lead, engage and drive a high performing team.
  • The ability to work and communicate effectively.
  • Experience of using data/research software such as SPSS and Q
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • The ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.
