The Role
This varied role involves all aspects of accounting and you get the opportunity to take charge of an experienced and professional team, while also dealing with an exciting client portfolio.
Further Duties
- Liaise with clients and prepare accounts, tax returns, FBT returns, BAS and other compliance matters
- Work with accounting programs, such as MYOB, Xero and APS
- Be responsible for audit engagements and lead the more junior staff in the team
- Identify & communicate risk areas to clients
- Effectively build relationships with clients and team members
- Manage, train and review work from more junior staff
The Applicant
- 5+ years’ experience in Business Services & Tax within public practice
- A university degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance or similar)
- CA qualification in place
- Attitude, career focus and communication skills are important for this opportunity
- Be switched on, driven and goal focused to fit into this working environment
