Corrective Services NSW
Location – Parramatta (Hybrid working environment)
Employment type – Ongoing Full time
Salary – $139,787 -- $161,663 pa plus employer contribution to superannuation and leave loading.
Your role
You will lead the development of Diversity initiatives, policies, strategies which are responsive to the changing needs of defined diverse groups.
You will also support the establishment of sustainable diversity networks to embed diversity specifically in relation to people who have Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds, identify as LGBTQIA+, or are people who are older or younger in contact with the criminal justice system.
What you’ll do
The key responsibilities of the Manager Diversity include:
Identify new and innovative strategies to assist those with who are from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities in contact with Corrective Services NSW
Provide strategic and specialist advice on key issues that aim to improve the accessibility, operation and level of client services provided effecting people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities,
Provide advice to key stakeholders within CSNSW around key issues and strategy implementation for people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities
Represent the Department and actively participate in inter-agency and inter-government initiatives focussing on diversity issues.
What we’re looking for
Tertiary qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
Experience in strategy development for diversity
Knowledge of the NSW criminal justice system, including CALD, LGBTQIA+ community justice policy issues and programs.
