This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take on diverse responsibilities within both administrative and accounts functions.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and providing essential administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of operations.
Duties and Responsibilities : Processing debtor and creditor invoices, reconciling accounts, managing payments, and handling new account applications.
Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance of the PPS Register in compliance with regulatory standards. As the primary point of contact for accounts and administration, you will be tasked with promptly responding to all relevant emails and inquiries, as well as managing weekly payroll processing and statutory obligations such as PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and Activity Statements.
You will take charge of managing and processing international purchase orders efficiently, maintaining inventory and accounts systems, and processing customer invoices on a daily basis.
Collaboration with various stakeholders, including the Managing Director, Accountant, Branch Manager, and Sales Personnel, will also be a crucial aspect of this role, as you provide essential administrative support to meet their needs.
The ideal candidate : Possess proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting procedures.
Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero and inventory management systems like Unleashed is desired, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment are also key attributes we are looking for in potential candidates.
