Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in Queensland's community? Our client is seeking a passionate Financial Accountant to drive their mission.
As the Financial Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in driving month-end processes, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, and collaborating with their shared service partner.
Here's what you'll do:
- Assist with month-end processes, including accruals, journals, and reconciliations;
- Contribute to annual planning and development;
- Prepare for external audits and ensure compliance;
- Provide support to payroll and maintain Fixed Asset Registers;
- Help with BAS preparation and policy development;
- Assist with Budgets & forecasts; and
- Drive process improvements and maintain stakeholder engagement.
What we're looking for:
- Two + years in a similar role;
- Professional accounting qualifications (CPA or CA);
- Sound technical accounting skills and familiarity with financial systems;
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel; and
- Passion for sustainability and community impact.
