We are looking for a business analyst that demonstrates a strong ability to bridge business concepts with technical solutions. About You:
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with a delivery focussed mindset that is skilled at working with people and committed to achieving business-driven outcomes. An ability to develop robust relationships with impacted stakeholders and to communicate between technical and non-technical audiences effectively will be key to ensuring success within this role and organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience as a business analyst working on technology-centric projects focusing on business processes, data, APIs and UI.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with the ability to simplify complex concepts for a non-technical audience.
- General proficiency ranging across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Proficiency in using SQL for data related needs.
- Preferred (but not essential) proficiency in various technologies and development languages including AWS, Elixir, Phoenix, Python, Go, React, NodeJS, PHP, Postgres.
- Experience in leading and supporting projects coupled with strong planning, organisation, and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the assessment, refinement and improvement of business processes utilising various tools including process and customer journey maps.
- Work with in-house teams and vendors to deploy technology solutions for new application builds, features, automation and modernisation
- Capture insights, findings and requirements through conducting workshops, meetings and presentations.
- Analysis and development of scope and requirements from high-level through to detailed documentation utilising a mix of agile and waterfall techniques including development of features, user stories and business requirements documentation
- Understanding of data and reports for development of business insights
- Ability to develop business relationships with business stakeholders, tech-teams, solution vendors and clients
- Working with various stakeholders to test and validate the effectiveness of a solution
- Delivery focused and experienced in working within the software development life-cycle with adherence to objectives and timelines.
- Development of procedural documentation.
