About The Centre

Thrive Ermington, located in Sydney's North West is close to public transport and offers free on-site, undercover parking.

The outdoor environment has city views with a background music care of native birds, making it an inviting space to be in.

The centre has build a diverse and inclusive community over the two years it has been in operation and have built strong relationships with children and families through regular community events held at the service that bring everyone together.

With environments that are aesthetically pleasing and spacious, educators are provided with the tools and resources needed to perform their role effectively.

About The Role

  • Due to a growth in occupancy, we have an opportunity for an early childhood teacher or diploma qualified educator to join the team in a full time capacity and lead a team of dedicated educators.
  • This position would suit someone who is looking to contribute to the delivery of high quality education and care for young children.
  • You will be joining a dedicated and supportive team where your ideas, input and voice is not only heard but welcomed and encouraged!
  • Your main responsibilities will be to:
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Have sound knowledge of and demonstrate high-quality practice in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Work in positive collaboration with all members of the team.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents/carers.
  • Actively contribute to the educational program through conversations, observations, and documentation.

To be successful, you will have:

  • An Early Childhood Teaching degree or diploma qualification
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation (ECT's only)
  • A current NSW Employee Working With Children's Check
  • Sound and practical working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Standard (NQS)
