headspace, Australia's National Youth Mental Health Foundation, provides vital early intervention mental health services to young people with mild to moderate mental health issues affecting their wellbeing.
Our mission is to improve the mental and social wellbeing of young people by providing services that are welcoming, friendly, supportive and culturally safe.
As the Clinical Lead, alongside the Service Manager, you will oversee the ongoingdesign, delivery and improvement of evidenced-based care to support young people's wellbeing, including providing clinical leadership, consultation and expertise toheadspacestaff, consortium and private practitioners, as well as engaging with local communities and key stakeholders.
This is an ongoing full time role based in South Hedland.What you will bringTo succeed in this role, you will have : Tertiary level qualification in relevant clinical discipline including clinical psychology, psychology, social work, mental health nursing, occupational therapy, or equivalentDemonstrated experience and advanced clinical skills in a range of mental health service settingsExperience in complex clinical triage, assessment and referralLeadership skills and demonstrated experience providing clinical supervisionProven track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholdersHighly developed cultural competency which will enable you to easily engage and build trust with people from diverse backgrounds, in particular Aboriginal communities.
The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check and WA Drivers License.
