An overview of the Function : Conducting Pre-Employment, Periodic and Health Surveillance Medical assessments Conducting Urine and Saliva Drug and Alcohol Testing Collecting Blood Serology and Pathology samples Audiometry Vital signs and clinical examinations ECG Range of movement / Functional Capacity assessment Administering Immunisations (if you are a registered immuniser) Other duties may include : Administrative and operational support tasks Client bookings Clinical follow ups Maintenance of system records About You : The person we seek will ideally be a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with knowledge, skills, and experience in the Pre-Employment Medical / Occupational Health speciality or come from a pre-employment medical background.
You will posses : Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills, The ability to work autonomously when needed with a skillset to perform elements pertaining to the area of occupational health assessment A good working knowledge of Best Practice, including electronic record maintenance, A good understanding of Work Health & Safety relative to the function, The ability to operate medical equipment required to provide the above services.
