Your responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
  • Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress report.

What you need to be successful in this role…

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Maintain current practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence (unrestricted) and willingness to utilise personal vehicle (if necessary) with comprehensive insurance.
  • Experience working with children, young people, and adults with disabilities or developmental delays.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Proficiency in conducting a variety of assessments within your profession and utilising evidence-based practices for service development, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Efficient management of workload with active prioritization of service delivery demands.
  • Knowledge and experience in working within person- and family-centered principles, especially within the context of NDIS.
  • Ability to effectively liaise with diverse individuals and build positive working relationships across various roles and organisations.
