Description:
Join our team as a Forklift Operator in Mt Tyson, QLD, and play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our grain processing facility. This position offers immediate employment with a competitive pay rate and opportunities for those with forklift experience and a strong work ethic.
What You'll Do:
As a Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Spearheading and sampling incoming grains trucks
- Analysing and identifying grain defects and weed seeds
- Record keeping and filing.
- Liaising with growers/colleagues regarding quality and issues
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of lab and sampling areas
- Preparing and dispatching freight/grain samples
- Sampling and analysing outgoing samples in accordance with GTA/AMA standards
In addition to forklift operations, other responsibilities include:
- Manual grain handling, packing, and sewing bags
- Maintenance of site hygiene and equipment
