Are you a confident, hands on HR Coordinator/Administrator looking for an opportunity that will allow you to have REAL IMPACT on an innovative organisation?
Here at MJD, we are very excited to be working with this client! Our client, an established Global Law Firm, are seeking a HR Coordinator to join the team.
As a key member of the team in this organisation, you will work closely with the HR Manager to provide support to the business to provide a positive employee experience and support the company's people strategy. This role will focus on all aspects of HR, including policy maintenance and development, recruitment, learning and development, administration, risk management and HR reporting.
Are you passionate about your HR career and keen for continued growth? In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Assist the business with screening resumes and shortlisting candidates as required
  • Coordinate the on-boarding process, including pre-employment checks
  • Generate and send employment contracts, salary increases and all employee documentation
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including leave policies, and other perks.
  • Maintain employee files
  • Service recognition process
  • Probation review process
  • New starter and exit interviews and provide insights and reporting
  • Enrol new joiner/s in the required compliance training within the agreed timeframes and follow up on overdue actions
To be a super success in this role you will need to:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a HR Coordinator or Administrator role (ideally in a Legal or Professional Services environment)
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering Practical HR operational solutions
  • Sound project management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, professional, and customer-focused approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A tertiary qualification in HR as well as prior experience is highly desired
