ABOUT THE ROLE
The Team Leader, Novated Purchasing oversees the daily activities of the Novated Purchasing team and is responsible for the purchase of motor vehicles and accessories ordered by SG Fleet’s Novated clients. This role is responsible for delivering 100% compliance against all SG Fleet purchasing KPI and SLA targets. It is also responsible for the efficient and professional management of all suppliers, dealers, team members and general SG Fleet requirements.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage key events/tasks of the vehicle purchasing process life cycle - with all stakeholders, in accordance with SG Fleet policy and procedures. Monitor KPI and SLA performance and manage change to ensure the companies commitments and goals are met.
  • Coach and develop team members in the purchasing of vehicles and providing optimal customer service to the Novated portfolio. Demonstrate leadership behaviour to develop staff, build a positive work culture where people aspire to excel, while maintaining high productivity levels. Ensure team’s workload is managed effectively and identify any potential issues that may impact the business
  • Develop maintain and foster relationships with all internal staff and departments to enhance the understanding of purchasing, specific to the Novated product, to help sales achieve the results they require to build SG Fleet’s leasing portfolio. Develop, maintain and manage relationships with the vehicle dealer network to ensure that the team efficiently deliver on our client commitments.
  • Respond to any complaints and queries from customers both, internal and external, and resolve the cause of any problems identified quickly, efficiently and in a view to promote best customer service practices.
  • Manage Pipeline for the Novated product via reports on all deliveries. Ensure that the data entered by and or managed by the Novated Purchasing team is accurate and up to date at all times
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement with an aim to maximize efficiencies and reduce financial risk.
  • Ensure the Purchasing team is adheres to all business processes e.g. ISO accreditation, company and regulatory legislation etc.
