THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading, family owned importer of apparel and supply well known brand names to their customers across Australia & New Zealand. Due to growth within the company, they are now looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable officer to join their fun and friendly team.
THE ROLE
- Accounts Receivable function
- Process payments and receipt to system
- Set up new customer accounts
- Process credit applications
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Follow up outstanding debts and on hold accounts
- Inbox management
- Assist with EOM reporting
- Support the accounts team with general admin tasks
- Answer inbound phone calls and assist with customer enquiries
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Previous experience working in an accounts role or similar
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Proficient using Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word & Excel
- Previous experience using MYOB/Xero or similar accounting software/ERP system
- High attention to detail
- Team player
