TRS Resourcing seeks highly skilled Mechanical Fitters to support day shift operations. Our client is an industry leader in constructing, maintaining, and repairing Dry Bulk Tankers for the fuel industry. With a substantial pipeline of new and repeat business, they are looking to expand their workforce.
Pay Rate: $55.00 Per Hour + Super, Overtime, and $27 Per Day Travel Allowance on a temp to perm basis.
The successfully recruited Mechanical Fitters could also have the opportunity to transition to a full-time position with our client after a successful six-month/26-week period.
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Running pneumatic airlines and mounting componentry
• Fault-finding
• Running electrical looms and terminating wiring
• Service, repair, and maintain the equipment requirements and associated Equipment compliance with all relevant standards and road transport guidelines
• Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
• Have the ability to prioritise work tasks
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Hold a mechanical aptitude.
