Northern Rivers In Home Care is a not for profit approved In Home Care Provider on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers areas. In Home Child Care is an education funded by the Australian Government Department of Education. It is designed to help families who have no access to existing child care services or families whose circumstances mean that existing child care cannot meet their needs.
We are currently looking for a qualified Early Childhood Educator to provide 6 to 10 hours of care per week to care for two children a 10 year old and 8 year. Care is during NSW school terms, providing before and after-school care for a working family in Goonellabah.
Days and Hours
Shift 6:45am -8:45am (2hours) - assist with preparation for school and school drop off (less than 5km distance)
Shift 3:00pm - 5:00pm (2 hours) - school pick up (less than 5km distance), home activities.
All shifts are 2 hours, with a 3 hour minimum paid ($105 per 2 hour shift)

Hourly Rate:
$35.00 per hour inclusive of Superannuation
The successful applicant will have the following prerequisites:
- Certificate III in Children’s Services
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate - Childcare First Aid Training HLTAID0011 and HLTAID009
- WWCC and Police Clearance
- Liability insurance (once successfully placed)
- Medical Clearance
- Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)
- ABN (this role is for a self employed/contractor)
- Photo ID
- PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)
