Are you passionate about creating a seamless university experience for students? The University of Wollongong is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Manager, Orientation and Transition to lead our efforts in transforming the student orientation and transition process. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing innovative programs and activities that facilitate students' smooth transition into and through their university degrees.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role as you work across the institution to ensure that our programs, activities, and services are inclusive and accessible to all students. Additionally, you will design specific strategies to enhance the transition to higher education for underrepresented student groups. Leveraging inclusive learning design and engaging students as partners, you will create impactful programs with clearly defined objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant tertiary qualification and a strong education-focused background. Essential qualifications include experience in program design, team management, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. A commitment to continuous improvement, utilizing current and emerging technologies in higher education, and applying inclusive, culturally respectful practices is essential. Prior experience in a higher education setting is desirable.
