The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Operator join a tight knit, like minded group of people whose mission is to make tasks safer, more efficient and less labour intensive by the use of mobile plant equipment.
The Role
As a Plant Operator you will be responsible for operating a variety of mobile plant machines in and around our rail network.
Plant types include but are not limited to :
- Truck / trailer combos
- Excavator (tracked / wheeled and with rail guidance)
- Front end wheeled loaders
- Backhoes, skid steers, graders and rollers
- Road rail vehicles
- Rail machinery
About You
To be successful in this role we would like you to have the following attributes :
- Demonstrated commitment to Arc HSE management system
- Demonstrated ability to operate the above machinery and a willingness to adapt skill set to rail specific tasks
- Knowledge of track rail infrastructure and safety principles (or on a training path)
- Basic computer skills
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- HR licence with a view to acquire a HC licence
- Applying our mission parameters in all of our tasks
- Become a subject matter expert and train others
