Are you passionate about, property management and / or property maintenance, and ensuring efficient utilisation of resources to support our organisation's strategic goals?
If so, we have two new positions within our exciting opportunities for you in our Property and Asset Management Team at the NLC.
The Property Officer will manage our portfolio of owned, leased commercial and residential properties that are located in both urban and remote communities.
Responsibilities will include managing employee and head leases, service contracts, property maintenance, managing property letting, inspections and preparation of reports and recommendations.
The Property Maintenance Officer will be responsible for a wide range of property and facility management related functions, which are integral to supporting the NLC’s strategic objectives and continuity of business through the provision of property management services, systems and infrastructure.
This includes the management of both owned and leased commercial and residential properties across the NLC’s network.

What You Will Bring :
- Experience in Housing or Property Management with a strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act 1999, or the ability to rapidly acquire;
- Ability to project manage small projects in remote locations;
- Provide a high level of customer focused service to diverse stakeholders’ High level of attention to detail with excellent organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to engage in a culturally competent and appropriate manner.

Both positions are classified under our Enterprise Agreement :
- Property Officer with relevant qualifications and minimum two (2) years practical experience commences at base salary of $76,978 per annum.
- Property Maintenance Officer with minimum three (3) years practical experience commences at base salary of $71,279 per annum.
In addition to base salary, you will receive :
- 14% superannuation;
- District allowance starting at $2,539 per annum
- Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,724;
- Generous leave entitlements such as 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave, and paid Christmas close down;
- Salary packaging benefits of up to $15,900 and additional Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
