Your role as General Manager, Homelessness and Housing manages the development and provision of high-quality Homelessness services and is responsible for the flood recovery program until May 2025.

  • Manage, lead and direct the delivery of Homelessness and Housing and flood recovery programs and drive program delivery, growth and development to meet program outcomes and key performance indicators.
  • Determine and drive operational priorities and service delivery goals, standards and performance measures to ensure expectations are clear and service delivery strategies are evidence-based and aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Contribute to strategic and business planning processes within the organisation to ensure that plans are informed by high-quality service strategy advice and a focus on customer needs.

We are looking for a passionate leader with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent senior experience) in a relevant discipline in psychology, social work, social science or social welfare
  • Extensive experience in a senior management role
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in line with organisational priorities and implement innovative and effective solutions to complex problems
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including highly developed communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
