About the Role
The WH&S Coordinator function of this role will see you effectively support the National Safety Team and National Safety Manager in the management of the company safety management system (RamAusSMS) and the promotion of work health and safety across the three sites.
Your Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in WH&S
- Experience in Work Health and Safety and demonstrated knowledge in relevant WHS legislation
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective skills in planning, time management, problem solving and decision making
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
Desirable;
- Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment

Warners Bay Private Hospital offers residents of Newcastle and beyond a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, rehabilitation and mental health services. Our surgical focus is in the areas of Orthopaedics, Urology, General, Gynaecology, Facio Maxillary, Paediatric, Plastic & Cosmetic surgery, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Gastroenterology
Berkeley Vale Private Hospital (BVPH) has 50 beds and provides services for rehabilitation, medical and mental health patients.
Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
