The Transperth System, Regional Town and School Bus Services (TRSBS) Division of the PTA has an exciting opportunity available and is seeking applications from highly motivated, dynamic, and experienced project and business professionals.
The Role
The Project & Business Coordinator leads the delivery of Transperth Ticketing system requirements for major and minor organisational projects. Undertakes, leads and coordinates project and contract management issues. Coordinates and contributes to the development and ongoing management of multiple contracts. Performs contract reviews and assists in the development of scopes and budgets for upcoming tenders.
In collaboration with the Ticketing, Performance and Business Intelligence Manager, the position reviews the business objectives and provides informed operational input to aid in the development of business systems and processes.
There is currently one permanent, full time vacancy available for filling. Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur for up to 12 months.
About You
The successful candidate will have well-developed communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and be comfortable developing partnerships, consulting and negotiating with a range of stakeholders to achieve customer and business focused outcomes.
To be considered for this role, you will also have:
- Demonstrated experience in project management.
- Knowledge and understanding of public transport systems.
- Experience in ticketing system management preferably in a public transport environment
- Considerable experience in in reading and interpreting project and contract documentation.
- Knowledge of the application of Transperth fares, ticketing policies and applied legislation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of information management.
- Demonstrated capacity to apply customer service principles.
- The ability to build teams to ensure an effective and efficient level of service is provided to internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.
- Well-developed leadership skills, including a high level of initiative, people management and team building skills.
- Proven ability to build partnerships between organisations, Government and private industry.
- Demonstrated capacity to organise and prioritise work and meet targets.
- Possession of a current Western Australian 'C' or 'C-A' Class Driver's Licence or equivalent.
