Bullo River Station is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and experienced Station Cook to join the team immediately.
Set on 400,000 acres of privately-owned countryside, Bullo River Station is a working cattle station in the Northern Territory. The station’s pristine landscape is carved with gorges and waterfalls, making it one of Australia’s most breathtakingly beautiful stations. Bullo is also in partnership with Australian Wildlife Conservancy restoring flora and fauna populations and offers one of Australia’s iconic luxury guest experiences between April and September each year.
Opportunity:
The Station Cook is responsible for hearty and nutritious meals that keep our team healthy and happy (25 + people) in our well-equipped staff kitchen. This person will take a creative approach to planning and producing interesting meals with minimal waste. The role would suit someone who is happy to work individually and someone who is keen to experience station life.
You will have:
- Previous experience in cooking for a team
- An ability to work with the team to ensure smooth running of the station
- Presentable, self-motivated and have good organisational skills
What we offer:
- Immediate start.
- This opportunity is a fixed term position for the Tourism and Pastoral season through to the end of November 2024.
- Your roster will be 6 days on, 2 days off (with flexibility for additional time off).
- Live in with all accommodation, food and WiFi provided in new staff living quarters, Rayner’s Camp. Each room is a double with ensuite and shared deck.
- Rayner’s Camp includes a gym, recreation room, fully equipped laundry, kitchen & dining and outdoor seating with firepit.
