Description:

Join our friendly team of Personal Care Assistants at Mercy Place Nixon, Mercy Place Corben, Mercy Place Northcliffe and provide high quality care to our residents. Come make a difference in the lives of our residents!

  • Casual positions available at Bayside Location, MP Corben, Nixon, Northcliffe
  • Provide quality resident-focused care utilising a person-centred approach and in accordance with care plans, Aged Care Standards and policies/procedures of Mercy Health
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care
  • Work in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely information
  • Preferred availability during the evening, over-night and weekends.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate in a team environment and report/document in line with requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements.
  • NDIS Screening check, Provide a current Police Record Check (Mercy Health may conduct additional background checks subject to current legislation).
  • Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders and with Mercy Health’s policy (includes but is not limited to COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement).

Employment with Mercy Health is subject to satisfactory background checks which can include Police Record Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
