Position Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a key member, you will inspire children through quality interactions, engaging programs, exciting excursions and experiences to promote health and well-being. Your role will involve implementing stimulating programs and project-based teaching, contributing to our commitment to high-quality care and education.
The lead educator / educator will be responsible for the effective supervision of the children in their care within the National Quality Framework. They are required to work proactively within the team, support colleagues and implement service policy and procedures to provide a safe and educational environment. They will ensure the service is inclusive and responsive to the needs of families and children.

Skills & Experience Required:
- Either a completed or 'working towards' qualification (Certificate 3, Diploma or teaching degree) in Early Childhood Education.
- First Aid and Child Protection qualification.
- Familiarity with the 'Early Years Learning Framework' and program cycle.
- Ability to inspire children through diverse experiences, including health and well-being, creative play, language development, and social interactions.
- Capacity to respond effectively to the individual needs of children
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to relate positively and effectively to children and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proven experience in a similar role in centre-based care
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties responsibly under limited supervision to ensure the
- achievement of service goals.
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning.
