Are you seeking a new role and challenge in a growing, global firm? Due to growth in the region, we have a new generalist Human Resources role to support Australia at Thomson Reuters. Strong partnership skills with leadership and skills in building strong effective programs for performance improvement are essential. Some experience in Industrial Relations, with the ability to interpret modern awards and national employment standards, including translating to policies, is also essential.

About the role

In this opportunity as Human Resources Manager, you will:

  • Provide more complex operational consultancy to first line to middle managers and the wider HR community, with limited direction.
  • Will support BU's in the delivery of the HR cycle i.e. bonus/pay review, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Employee Survey.
  • Will have considerable judgement to develop solutions from a factual background and fundamental principles.
  • Impart expert knowledge and direction in all HR disciplines to first and middle management.
  • Will develop in-depth knowledge of their BU/SBU i.e. customers, products, pressures, people and politics.
  • Develop reports and analysis independently for workforce planning purposes.

About you:

You're a fit for the role of Human Resources Manager if you have:

  • ANZ compliance programs (EEO training) Workshops, seminars
  • Onboarding and offboarding and providing tactical Talent Acquisition support
  • Employee relations including investigations as required
  • Understanding ANZ talent, and working with Senior HR leads to drive the Talent Management program
  • Industrial relations, development policies and the execution and development of procedures
  • Develop Australia site (Bris, Sydney, Melb, Perth) OHI program working with managers and Senior HR leads
  • Worker health and safety and return to work
  • Driving HR Financials (leave management, Workday and admin hygiene)
