Labour Connect is an Australian Owned company focused on providing various industries with a comprehensive range of services through a network of highly qualified, motivated employees.We are looking for recruitment consultants to join the LC team and help to expand our construction and/or warehousing division. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to leverage our existing temporary and contract clients and assist them as well as with their permanent roles. With a very strong client base, this position is ideal for a hard-working consultant willing to take the next step in their career.
Roles & Duties:
- Responsible for the full 360° recruitment process
- Business development with existing and new clients in the Australian market.
- Candidate attraction – sourcing talented professionals for existing clients through the existing database, social media (LinkedIn), networking and advertising.
- Candidate screening – interviewing candidates, resume presentation and interview preparation.
- Meetings and presentations with new and existing clients.
- Work in conjunction with the temp desk to obtain up to date knowledge of existing clients, their jobs and their staffing requirements.
- Conduct site visits from time to time to build rapport with new and existing clients.
- Understand the visa requirements and restrictions that candidates face in Australia.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a sales environment.
- Be confident speaking to clients and candidates on the phone.
- Have an up-to-date knowledge of the Australian (Sydney mainly) construction industry.
- Self-motivated, strong organisation skills and have good time management skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident, ambitious and career driven.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent IT skills.
