The Risk Assurance and Advisory team supports Commodities and Global Markets finance in managing non-financial risks through governance and monitoring, providing risk advisory support, assurance reviews, attestation activities, and training

What role will you play?
In this role, you will help support the global assurance book of work, with the purpose of providing management assurance of the effectiveness of Commodities and Global Markets Finance Control Framework. This is an opportunity for you to work collaboratively with teams across the Macquarie Group and to provide valuable insights supporting our CGM Finance stakeholders on the ongoing compliance of our policies, standards and frameworks. In this rewarding role, you will gain exposure to senior leaders across Macquarie while collaborating with key stakeholders in the Financial Management group, Commodities and Global Markets Group, and Risk Management Group.
What you offer
- You have a Chartered accountancy background
- Experience in internal or external audit or in a similar risk assurance capacity
- You are a strong communicator with solid stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated curiosity, the ability to challenge the status quo, and have a willingness to learn with good attention to detail.
- You think laterally, problem solve and grasp abstract concepts and complex situations.
