About the Role

An opportunity exists for dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse's to join our Jacaranda Ward

Jacaranda Ward is a 34 bed acute surgical ward with High Dependency beds. Surgical specialties include: Vascular, Plastics, Urology, Thoracic, Bariatric, Orthopaedics, Spinal, Colorectal and Neurosurgery. We offer High dependency training onsite with an in-hospital run HDU course to successful applicants.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the successful applicant will perform duties within their scope of practice to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the core values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care. You will assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate flexibility to work within a rotating roster inclusive of AM, PM, night duty and weekend shifts. We are seeking candidates for permanent part-time and full-time positions.

You will also bring

  • Current RN registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Knowledge of Quality / Continuous Improvement processes
  • Excellent work ethic and time management skills
  • Ability to successfully work as a team member

Remuneration

$34.39 - $ 47.55 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $67,957.76 - $93,965.04]

Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive 344 bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac and obstetric facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. The hospital currently accommodates a 14 bay emergency department, 226 medical and surgical, 36 cardiac, 11 ICU, 7 Neonatal, 14 Obstetric, and 30 Oncology beds which include 15 day infusion chairs.
