We have a rare opportunity for a Receptionist/Space Coordinator to join the WOTSO team based from our vibrant Sunshine Coast space! This isn’t your typical office job – it’s a chance to get creative through coordinating our community events, moving around the space keeping it looking great, covering the reception, completing admin tasks and interacting with our members. It's an opportunity to get started in a role with training provided, ongoing learning and potential for growth as our WOTSO spaces expand.

With no two days the same, we are looking for someone who is friendly, likes talking to people and self motivated. You'll be based at reception and moving around the space, so this role may suit someone who is coming from retail or hospitality looking for a change in career. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to hit the ground running and work from a unique office space with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Duties/responsibilities

  • Cover the reception and provide a warm welcome to everyone using our space
  • Complete admin tasks
  • Coordinator tours, appointments and visitor day passes
  • Show people through the space
  • Plan and coordinate community events held in our spaces
  • Daily space set up and pack down
  • Keep communal and breakout areas looking neat & tidy throughout the day
  • Order event and meeting room catering
  • Interact with members and respond to requests
  • Create newsletters and space signage using Canva
  • Organise and distribute mail and parcels
  • General errand running
  • Instagram posting
  • Set up offices ready for rental with Space Leader
  • Admin tasks using Office 365
  • Update notes on our CRM
  • Update logs (such as parking and access)
  • IT/WIFI troubleshooting
  • Printer set up for members

What We Would Like From You

  • All levels of experience considered, however prior retail or hospitality experience is a plus
  • Have a 'hands on' approach to tasks
  • Be adaptable
  • Be comfortable with being on your feet some of the day
  • Have a friendly and professional demeanour, we have lots of members that use our space and we do like a chat!
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
