We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Support Officer to join the PCADS team! The position is full time, working Monday to Friday.
A bout the Opportunity The Program Support Officer contributes to the effectiveness, reputation and sustainability of HOPE's services by effectively supporting the programs to deliver services, to ensure the smooth operation of the daily activities.
Requirements of the Role : Provide a range of administrative, reception and support services, including client record management, routine correspondence, and meeting and event coordination to support the effective operation of the service.
Coordinate and undertake mail, correspondence and receipting processes Prepare agendas and take / distribute minutes for staff meetings where required.
Provide direct administrative support for program service areas across the region. Assist with activities such as support groups, internal meetings with the preparation and delivery of external events as required.
- Coordinate catering, venues and other elements of activities and events as required About you : At least two years' experience in a similar role within a small- to medium-sized community service Demonstrated competence in administration and office coordination Formal qualifications in administration or office management would be well regarded Experience working in culturally appropriate ways Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Sound administrative and computer skills Some manual handling and other physical tasks are required as part of this role;
- the incumbent must be willing, fit and able to undertake these tasks on a regular basis Some work outside normal working hours may be required from time to time;
the incumbent must be willing and able to undertake such duties (which will be negotiated and agreed in advance if required) Appointments will be subject to Australian residency / visa, satisfactory National Police check (within 3 months), Working With Children card, Current C or A class driver's license, and suitable work referees.
