Manage critical employment information systems and applications for the purpose of State Service workforce operations, data collection, analysis and reporting. Provide advice on assigned Employment Directions and Practices, Procedures and Standards. Hours per fortnight
Up to 73.5 hours - flexible options available.
Duties
- Lead a small team to undertake the strategic management of critical information systems and applications, including the Workforce Information Reporting System (WiRS), the Tasmanian Government Jobs Website and the PageUp e-Recruitment system.
- Coordination of the TSS Employee Survey and Agency Surveys, including negotiating content and preparing reporting and initial analysis.
- Prepare and contribute to whole-of-service workforce reporting including the TSS employer annual report, Budget Estimates and Question Time Briefs, and Routine Data Releases. Provide ad-hoc whole-of-service workforce reporting as necessary to support the broader functions of SSMO, and the needs of the Head of the State Service (HoSS).
- Liaise and consult with State Service Agencies and other stakeholders concerning data collection and reporting.
- Undertake and/or contribute to information system projects including business case and specification development, stakeholder consultation, procurement and contract management.
- Prepare a range of written documentation including ministerial and Cabinet documentation and correspondence, reports and briefing notes, speeches, media releases, promotional material, publications, website content and other material as required.
Relevant Degree or post graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline.
