What you will do
Located in our Lane Cove office, this is a fast-paced role with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Focussed on overseeing the Inventory & Purchasing functions some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing the procurement process from vendor selection to contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Establish strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to streamline supply chain operations.
• Implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimising excess and obsolete inventory.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance and agility.
What we need from you?
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement
• and supply chain management, preferably in a leadership role.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• SAP experience highly desirable and/or experience with a similar ERP
