What you’ll be doing…

The Accounts Officer, reporting directly to the Finance Manager, is responsible for managing incoming invoices, claims, and payments while adhering to financial reporting standards and other administrative obligations. Ensuring meticulous processing and maintenance of all financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner is important to the role.

Additionally, the Accounts Officer will provide general administrative support and handle ad-hoc tasks to assist the team, encompassing Accounts Receivable and Payable duties. In this role you will also collaborate with the scheduling and rostering team for client services.

What you will need…

  • Completion of Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Commerce, major in accounting and minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable
  • Demonstrated experience in the social services industry including Home Care and NDIS
  • Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Intermediate skills in software programs including Excel and other Finance systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Experience with TechOne ERP & Carelink CRM is highly desirable
