Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather financial data and insights for reporting.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Oversee the reconciliation of intercompany transactions and accounts.
- Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth financial reviews.
- Drive process improvements within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) accreditation.
- Solid experience in group reporting, financial consolidation, and analysis.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
