Description:
Our client is a securitized lender, and are looking for a canddiate with experience within non-bank lending to join the team in the Head of FP&A role.
The duties include:
You will be responsible for commercial controlling within ANZ, taking ownership of the Commercial P&L. You will be a strong supporter, but at the same time challenger, of the commercial heads and their commercial teams.
- Analyze the commercial P&L vs plan, forecasts and prior year and translate into timely, structured, standard and comprehensible reporting & analyses for both the local teams as divisional team
- Control, interpret, challenge and communicate these analyses to the appropriate levels within the division
- Set up and report on specific projects (e.g. strategic relaunches, pricing programs, …)
- Take an advisory role in identifying business opportunities together with the functional heads
- Perform post contract reviews to analyze accuracy in costing techniques, participate in the pricing decisions and provide financial support to strategic and operational decision making at BU level
- Act as owner in putting together Budgets & forecasts and estimates
- Deliver active financial support to strategic planning process, develop financial models and simulate multiple scenarios for business opportunities and special projects
- Coach and train the local commercial teams on existing and newly to be implemented reports and processes. Share best practices
Experience
* Tertiary degree in Economics/Finance/Business Administration, with a strong financial background
* At least 8 years of professional experience, of which at least 2 on similar field of work.
* Experience working in the manufacturing industry or consulting
* Strong budget/forecasting experience
* Knowledge of Financial Controlling procedures and standards (Business/commercial controlling).
* Good knowledge of IAS/IFRS is an advantage.
* Strong skills and knowledge using SAP and MS Excel
* Strong understanding of data management principles
* Strong team based and interpersonal skills
* Experience with Power BI
* Experience working for a multinational FMCG/Healthcare organization.
* Managing relationships with different stakeholders, based in various locations globally.
