Mimili Anangu School is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Primary/Middle School teacher. The teacher will teach Upper Primary/Middle Secondary (Years 5/6 or a different combination of these year levels dependent upon student numbers). This is an amazing opportunity to become part of a dedicated team.
The Yankunytjatara and Pitjantjatjara Languages are a key component of the learning program and there is a strong focus on oral language and reading across all areas of the curriculum. All teachers work closely with Anangu Educators to deliver all aspects of the curriculum. The desirable applicant should be flexible and be able to work well with service providers and community to deliver an engaging and relevant learning program. The school has a strong focus on EALD strategies, culturally responsive pedagogies and trauma informed practices. Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.
