Job Description

Inhabit invites you to embark on an exciting journey as we seek a passionate and driven Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Melbourne. If you're fueled by a love for numbers and a desire to make a real impact, this is your chance to shine!

The role will include:

• Assist in financial accounting activities.
• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes.
• Perform various reconciliations including bank, sales, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Validate and process credit card transactions in the accounting system.
• Send out monthly statements to clients in a timely manner.
• Record project-related entries in synergy with the project management team.
• Assisting with other ad hoc financial duties where required.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelors degree in Accounting (or similar)
• Ideally 1 year of experience in a similar role (but not mandatory)
• Familiar with basic accounting knowledge
• Can do attitude
• High attention to detail
• MUST be able to meet deadlines
• Are proactive, demonstrate initiative, focus and a strong commitment to your profession
