Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. Within RBS domain sits Wealth and Private (W&P) comprising of Commonwealth Private, Wealth Partnerships and Guidance & Investing businesses.

Private Bank and Advice Experiences Crew's mission is to transform and grow Private Bank and Advice business of CBA.

This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.

Do work that matters:

The Senior Change Manager role is part of Private Bank and Advice Experiences crew and reports to the Delivery Centre of Excellence Lead.

You will triage and assess a broad range of projects impacting thousands of people, giving you the opportunity to use your agile mindset, think creatively and advise on change interventions that are fit for purpose. Representing the frontline, you will work closely with Product teams and OCM stakeholders to understand and plan the change for each project. You will guide and advise frontline leadership in the best ways to approach changes. You will use your distribution knowledge and expertise to advise the optimum approach and delivery to ensure effective and sustainable embedding of change for each segment.

This key role will manage various critical elements of the planning and assessment of our change projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the triage and assessment of incoming change submissions across multiple segments; working cross functionally with colleagues to ensure effective planning of change.

  • Represent multiple segments and present to segment leadership on critical change and capacity metrics to advise and guide on strategic change planning and trade-offs.

  • Build strong connection points into distribution to retain and grow segment expertise and exposure.

  • Provide change advice to project delivery teams; stakeholders and senior leaders; working as a key business partner/advisor.

  • Advise and recommend suitable change management design and delivery approaches for specific audiences.

  • Review fit-for-purpose change solutions to ensure alignment to distribution audiences, e.g. OCM artefacts, impact assessments, communications. Where needed, provide business and distribution insights, reflecting an understanding of the impact of the change on the business.

  • Develop specific communications for targeted audiences as needed, e.g. BDO Comms. Scrutinise and assess of weekly talking point comms to ensure adherence to guardrails.

  • Represent distribution and ultimately, voice of customer, at specific Pace planning cadences and Change Working Groups, as needed.

  • Act as liaison between project and business to guide the planning for suitable workshops, end user training or upskilling as required, to enable the required capability/skill transfer for the change.

  • Oversee the handover of transition of change into business as usual with business partners.
