Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking an experienced and energetic Senior Assistant Manager to join our team on a Full-Time basis. Novotel Sydney Darling Square which is conveniently located amongst Sydney's CBD, Darling Harbour, Darling Square and ICC precincts is the perfect location for guests whether they're travelling for business, leisure, or both. Our 230 contemporary accommodation rooms overlook the Darling Square precinct on one side and The Chinese Garden of Friendship on the other.
The hotel has gone through an exciting refurbishment and we are looking for energetic and enthusiastic Senior Assistant Manager to join our Front Office team. If you are looking for a change or if you are a Assistant Manager looking to step up to the next level this is the role for you.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in the hotel industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Opera/ Opera Cloud, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office
- Guest obsessed focus with the ability to flex in a fast paced and ever changing environment
- Ability to navigate through change and provide quick thinking solutions should problems arise
- Leadership qualities, with the ability to extend yourself to assisting your colleagues where needed, maintaining high levels of communication with other departments
- Clear and confident communication skills - both written and verbal
- Diploma in Hospitality or Business Management (preferred)
- Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
