About the roleOur client is a reputable business based in Western Sydney that is seeking an experienced credit controller/ accounts Receivable Officer to join the highly supportive team. You will be managing the receivable function and managing the ledger, with the support of one other account receivable officer.

The responsibilities
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be mainly responsible for:
- Manage customer ledger
- Banking, Allocation & Receipting
- Bank account reconciliations
- Processing claims and rebates
- Opening accounts and conducting credit assessments
- Investigation of un-reconciled payments
- Updating customer accounts
- Cash flow forecasting
- Excellent experience with end to end accounts receivable experience, including strong experience with opening accounts, credit checks, collections, claims and cash flow forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills
- A high level of empathy and strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive approach
- Team player
