Description:
- Business partnering with development managers to assist with project financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Assist in preparation of quarterly feasibility review
- Updating and reconciliation of development feasibility models
- Updating and reconciliation of development workflow Development Expenditure
- Preparation of monthly journal entries
- Review of project cost allocations
- Prepare monthly reporting including variance analysis
- Assist in the monitoring of project cashflows
- Assist with annual budget preparation
- Upload capex budgets in JDE in a timely manner
- Managing system administration of projects including job setup, DOA and budgets
- Work with the Finance team to prepare the audit file to support financial statements and disclosures
- Assist the Finance Team with audit queries
- Monitor, evaluate and identify opportunities to improve current policies, processes and procedures and contribute to business effectiveness and growth
- Ensure such policies are correctly disseminated, understood and applied by the relevant staff and other personnel are educated accordingly
- Identify and implement process improvements at the transactional and strategic levels. Relationship Management
- Actively foster and support a positive working relationship with all key stakeholders
- Strive to provide the best service at all times, ensuring compliance and business requirements are met
Requirements:
- CA/CPA Qualification
- University Degree Qualification
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Basic Word and PowerPoint skillsProperty/development industry experience preferable
- Experience with financial modelling preferable
- Experience with JDE or large ERP system preferable
- Takes ownership and initiative in all responsibilities
- Proactive team player
- Passion for accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
- Confident and proficient in dealing with people and ability to articulate well
- Proven track record in achieving results and ability to prioritise work in accordance with reporting needs
- Working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards / AIFRS
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and the subsequent pro-active management of such opportunities
- Confident in decision making and able to work with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt and respond to changes emerging in a rapid paced environment
- Willingness to assist other areas from time to time as appropriate
Conditions:
- Work for an established real estate investment trust company.
- $50-$60 per hour + superannuation.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- 3 month contract
