The role:

As a Senior Account Manager, you'll play a critical role in supporting the Group Sales Leader in inspiring, motivating and managing a team of high-performing Account Managers. You’ll play a critical role in developing oOh!’s relationship with one of our Tier 1 agency partners, extracting revenue growth and developing and mentoring the team.

You'll sit across one of oOh!'s highest performing agency patches and will lead 4 x Account Managers across Impact and Broadcast channels. You'll bring with you a strategic and solutions based mindset and provide guidance and advice throughout presentations, brief responses and negotiations. You'll work closely with the Group Sales Leader to own elements of reporting, planning and the team weekly rhythm. Day to day, you'll also be responsible for:

  • Taking business strategy and turning it into meaningful goals for territory, leading Account Managers to execute all oOh! GTM activity to high standard
  • Leading quarterly account planning, forecasting and execution process with the team
  • Reviewing Account Manager pipelines and activity levels weekly and provide strategic guidance to address gaps and challenges to drive strong revenue performance on all Networks
  • Modelling leadership and sales excellence by prospecting, preparing, pitching, and participating in business opportunities
  • Supporting in-market activity of Account Managers, providing regular coaching and feedback to improve performance and in market impact
  • Collaborating with other Account Managers, internal stakeholders and teams to effectively position our products and solutions in market
  • Participating in external events and social engagements to build relationships with clients and boost our branding efforts
  • Up-selling and cross-selling on key accounts to develop new business avenues and manage the after sales process

The Experience:

Ideally you’ll have minimum 5 years of experience in an Account Management function and prior media experience. You will also:

  • Be an experienced leader, whether it be from directly managing a team or providing coaching and mentorship
  • Have a proactive approach to developing new business as well as managing and expanding key accounts
  • Be able to influence stakeholders through thought-leadership and a consultative approach
  • Understand how to use data, metrics and external market insights to drive and influence decisions.
  • An innate storyteller with excellent presentation style and ability to present engaging insights and solutions
  • Have exemplary communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills
