Global Fintech/SaaS firm requires Senior Accounts Manager to manage and grow an existing portfolio of tier 1 and 2 banking & finance clients.

With business continuing to flourish in 2024, a new opportunity now exists for
a senior sales and account management professional to drive the growth and retention of a portfolio of 30 existing clients across the tier 1 and 2 banking and fiinance sector.
Requiring a highly experienced and strategic individual, this role focuses exclusively on generating the best return on investment for your clients as well working strategically to expand the product footprint and deliver YoY revenue growth across your patch.
Representing a cutting-edge suite of SaaS and Fintech products and related services, this senior appointment requires a natural communicator who enjoys building and nurturing large clients and being regarded as a trusted business partner rather than just another sales person.
With extensive onboarding and product training provided, this opportunity will suit an indiviudal who enjoys working in a fast paced CBD office environment with a market leading product suite at your disposal.
Key role responsibilities involve:
- Achieve and exceed client service level agreements
- Execute and drive strategy to achieve sales objectives
- Build interest in products and solutions, meet with prospects within existing accounts, and ask effective questions to establish business needs and opportunities
- Identify client buying signs, negotiate sound opportunities and recognise signals to close from key decision makers and influencers
- Understand the client’s organisation structure, business model and strategies to align with the sales process
- Maintain accurate records through Salesforce and other CRM systems to ensure a thorough understanding of a customer and their engagement
- Effectively demonstrate the company products and services to prospective customers
- Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders including account/relationship/operations managers to ensure effective coverage & management of your clients
- Utilise sales methodologies as directed by the business
- Leverage relationships with industry partners to maximise sales opportunities
- Attend and contribute to periodic sales training and internal sales meetings
- Attend and contribute to various functions and trade events as required
- 7+ years experience with a proven successful track record in strategic account management of key clients and/or accounts.
- Demonstrated experience representing a SaaS/Fintech solution within a blue-chip client portfolio, with experience in servicing the banking or financial services sector highly regarded.
- Proven ability to problem solve and provide solutions that are aligned with the clients' needs
- Demonstrated ability to build wide and effective networks of contacts
- Proven commercial acumen with a track record of exceeding sales targets
- Established experience in holding commercial meetings with all levels including senior executive and translating their business needs into a complete solution
- Track record working as part of a team to meet individual and team objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with a proven ability in delivering insights and recommendations to relevant opportunity stakeholders
- High degree of competency in MS Office and computer literacy
