NES Fircroft are working alongside a major Teir 1 Energy company seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join their team initially until end of 2024.Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Perth CBD
Hours: School Hours, Mon – Fri (25 – 30 hours per week)
Length of contract: Initially until end of 2024.
- This role primarily supports our client deliver on its emerging activities and opportunities for the New Energy business.
- The role will drive coordination and assistance with delivering in the administration functions across the New Energy business. The role will focus on supporting the team to work through the core and critical systems and processes of our client.
- During 2024 the key feature of the role will be assisting the project teams i.e. Project Wheatbelt, the tasks and activities will be varied in nature, including managing the fleet vehicles, site trip travel arrangements, land man******ment administration, invoicing, credit card reconciliation, training, raising Purchase Requisitions, taking of minutes/actions at meetings and assist the project team as requested.
- Whilst the role has day-to-day involvement with the project team significant interactions of the role will be liaising and consulting with various people throughout the whole business. The successful applicant must be capable of delivering effective and cordial interface relationships with other people.
- This Part Time role is for an initial period of 8 months.
- The role is based in Perth and is an office-based role, which may include some flexibility start and finish times but minimal working from home flexibility.
- Part-time 25-30 hours p/week with the possibility of becoming full time.
- Work hours can be by agreement.
- Book meetings and meeting rooms for the team and liaise with other departments to maintain all equipment to a satisfactory level.
- Corporate credit card reconciliation.
- To eng****** in team activities and provide assistance and support to ******al and external stakeholder events.
- Be at a professional level to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Be able to work as part of the team and provide professional ******al services to other colleagues and groups.
- Provide interface and connection with stakeholders in relation to your tasks and activities.
- Completion of Year 12 education is desirable.
- Completion of Certificates or Diplomas or some type which have been developed over time and which support the objectives of this role are also desirable.
- Ideally, 5 plus years’ experience working
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated and results orientated.
- Team oriented.
- Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Utilize and be efficient with business processes.
- “Very competent User” level in MS Office.
- Competence in other relevant applications (SAP, Visio, etc.) desirable.
- Previous experience in Document Man******ment Systems including formatting of documents. document numbering and revision control desirable.
- Knowledge of procurement man******ment (purchase requests, invoices and ensuring payment).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
